Women of Note
A Concert Celebrating Women in the Arts
4 P.M.
St. Mark's Episcopal Church
520 North Boulevard • Richmond

Featuring choral works by Amy Beach, Emma Lou Diemer, Libbie Larsen, Gwyneth Walker and African-American composers Undine Smith Moore and Margaret A. Bonds. The program also highlights texts by Emily Dickinson, Sara Teasdale and the ancient Greek poetess Sappho. Guest artist Lisa Edward-Burrs joins RCS for this special afternoon of music.

The afternoon will also highlight the visual arts with our “Afternoon Art Gallery,” a unique collaboration celebrating women in the arts.

This concert is presented as part of the statewide initiative Minds Wide Open: Virginia Celebrates Women in the Arts.
