Richmond Choral Society has entertained and challenged area audiences with imaginative programs and a commitment to musical excellence for sixty-three years. RCS's 2008-2009 Concert Season promises to be, once again, filled with works to delight and move audiences. Our first concert, "Lessons and Carols," was held December 7 before an enthusiastic audience. Now we are looking ahead to our Masterworks Concert, "Mozart and Friends...or Foes?" featuring selected works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Leopold Mozart, Franz Joseph Haydn and Antonio Salieri. Every season, Richmond Choral Society partners with local nonprofit organizations to help promote their missions and our concerts. For our Masterworks Concert, we are pleased to be joining with FeedMore, the umbrella organization for the Central Virginia Foodbank, Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia and the Community Kitchen.
